Tanner EJF_4150_March 04, 2021

Tanner’s areas of practice include Criminal Defense, Civil Matters, Family Law, and Estate Planning. Tanner has successfully represented hundreds of clients, often in their darkest hours, both inside and outside of the courtroom. Having practiced all across the State of Colorado in recent years, Tanner now primarily handles cases in Northern Colorado – including Weld, Larimer, Adams, Boulder, and Morgan counties.

As an undergraduate at the University of South Dakota, Tanner majored in both Psychology and Spanish Literature, graduating Cum Laude in his class. After graduation, he went on to attend the University of Nebraska College of Law, where he concentrated in the study of Litigation and was named Outstanding Clinical Student Attorney – Civil Litigation Clinic, at the nomination of his Clients and College Faculty.

After Law School, Tanner served as an attorney in the Douglas County Public Defender’s Office in Omaha, Nebraska, for a little over three years, before going into private practice in the state of Colorado in early 2017, where he has been helping satisfied clients ever since. In 2017, Tanner joined Grant & Hoffman’s Greeley office, although he is happy to meet clients in our Fort Collins office as well, by appointment.

Tanner lives with his wife and three children. He enjoys exploring the Colorado wilderness, attending music and arts events, and grilling dishes for his friends and family.
